LINKSHere are links to other web pages which I believe have useful information. UMSL College of Nursing web site - I am the webmaster for this site Clarence Maise's Teaching with Technology web site - Clarence is an Instructional Designer at UMSL, and his web site has a lot of useful information! Wikipedia - this web site is an excellent source of information on almost any topic you can imagine- just beware that all content is user-generated and user-edited, so information is not necessarily 100% correct at all times. Adobe - While Reader and Flash Player are free, their consumer-level pay programs, such as Photoshop Elements for photo manipulation and graphic design and Premiere Elements for video editing, can be very useful. Techsmith - this company has programs that are useful in education available for purchase, such as Camtasia Studio and SnagIt. Microsoft's Windows Media Encoder -a free to download program that captures video the screen and audio through an input (such as voice through a microphone). SUPER - a free video converter program that converts between almost all video formats available. |
