Internships

My guidelines for internships for academic credit utilize BA 296 (INDEPENDENT STUDIES),
because it is a vehicle in place. The student may not receive any compensation
(stipend, salary, wage, commission).

For each one hour of academic credit, the student must prepare a marketing plan* for
his/her area of responsibility, plus work a minimum of 40-50 hours in a "meaningful"
marketing position. His/her marketing plan is shared with the supervisor, who also completes a written evaluation of the marketing interns performance and hours.

I GRADE THE REQUIRED MARKETING PLAN.

I also place marketing interns who are compensated, but do not receive academic credit.
Some of my placements are international. I also refer inquiries for non marketing internships to other departments.

* The plan follows my outline of six steps. I provide them a video lecture by me on the construction of the plan and sample completed marketing plans as guide posts.

ALL SPONSORING ORGANIZATIONS, INTERESTED IN MARKETING INTERNS, COMPLETE AN APPLICATION, WHICH I FILE and SHARE. I average more than one inquiry per day.
