Getting to The Pierre Laclede Honors College
We welcome all visitors at The Pierre Laclede Honors College.
If you want to visit the
University and the Honors College please go through the Welcome Center; be sure to tell them you want to visit us as well. If you only want to visit the Honors College, please call 314-516-7769.
Once you have made these arrangements, simply follow these directions to get to the Honors College:

Directions to UM Saint Louis Pierre Laclede Honors College
314-516-68701) On Highway I-70, traveling east:
Exit Hwy I-70 at the Hanley Road Exit. Turn right and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the intersection of Natural Bridge and Hanley Road. Turn left and continue east on Natural Bridge. See bold directions below.
2) On Highway I-70, traveling west:
Exit Hwy I-70 at the Hanley Road Exit. Turn left at the traffic light and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the intersection of Natural Bridge and Hanley Road. Turn left and continue east on Natural Bridge. See bold directions below.
3) On Highway I-170, traveling north or south:
Exit Highway I-170 at the Natural Bridge Exit and turn right (east-away from the airport). Continue on Natural Bridge Road through the Hanley Road intersection. See bold directions below.
4) On Highway I-270 traveling west or east:
Exit Highway I-270 at Highway I-40 East. Exit onto Brentwood Blvd. and access Highway I-170 North. Drive I-170 North to Natural Bridge and turn right, going east. Continue to follow Natural Bridge until you get to the intersection of Hanley and Natural Bridge. Then, follow bold directions below.
5) On Highway I-270 traveling north or south:
Exit Highway I-270 at Highway I-70 East. Exit Hwy I-70 at the Hanley Road Exit. Turn right and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the intersection of Natural Bridge and Hanley Road. Turn left and continue east. See bold directions below.
6) On Highway I-64-40 traveling east:
Exit Highway 64-40 at Highway I-270 North; continue north to Highway I-70 East. Exit Hwy I-70 at the Hanley Road Exit. Turn right and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the intersection of Natural Bridge and Hanley Road. Turn left and continue east. See bold directions below.
7) On Highway I- 64-40, traveling west:
Exit Highway I-64-40 at Highway I-170 North. Exit Highway I-170 at the Natural Bridge Exit and turn right (east). Continue on Natural Bridge Road through the Hanley Road intersection. See bold directions below.
8) Traveling from Illinois on Highway I-64 west:
Cross the Poplar Street Bridge and continue west on Highway I-70. Exit Hwy I-70 at the Hanley Road Exit. Turn left at the traffic light and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the intersection of Natural Bridge and Hanley Road. Turn left and continue east. See bold directions below.9) Metro Link:
Get off at South Campus UMSL.
When you are facing the road go to the left on the road till you hit a stop sign, don’t turn right at this drive but the next available one (only about 50 feet past the stop sign) is the drive up to Provincial House. Continuing east on Natural Bridge and approximately ½ mile east of north campus (do NOT turn into north campus!) on the right hand side is the red SOUTH campus sign (Normandy Middle School is on the left hand side). Turn RIGHT at the red SOUTH Campus sign. Continue following the road (make sure to stop at the stop sign right after the Metro Link station!). Go through the sign and on the right on top of a huge hill is the Provincial House/ Chapel. Turn right up the hill and park in the visitors parking on the left hand side of the building. Enter through the main doors and the first office on the left side is the main office.
