Conclusion
The time to market software products have been shortened exponentially in the present competitive global scenario. The product life cycle or system development begins from market research of a concept or the need of a client and ends in system deployments and operation. The global competition and change in customer’s need have resulted in scrum manifesto, which is required to rapidly develop a system and to meet change in requirements initiated by the customer even late in the development stage. Evidence shows that scrum has gained popularity and will continue in the many years to come. While there are many disadvantages of using traditional methodology on projects, The advantages of using Scrum in system development cannot be over-emphasized dues to the reasons mentioned in the readings.
