Zac's Poetry:

Hiding behind a turquoise mask

Unlike any other

Pretending to be like another

That’s all I ask

Hiding behind a turquoise mask

Solace is all I ask

Sucking life’s colors

From behind a turquoise mask

Hana's poetry:

All I have is tears

All I’ve got is sadness

All my memories are sad

With a small light of happiness

So how do you explain this emptiness?

Not able to know how you feel

All you know is sadness

How can you recover from this sadness?

Face them?

No

Look for them

No

All you see is darkness

Faces that treat you like you were the one that got sick

Mention the one that you loved that has passed away

And the very air you breathe gets stale and stiff

So bury the feeling?

No

It will come out as something else that you don’t wont it to

Anger, competitiveness

Everything and anything its not supposed to be

Should I hide behind a mask moping?

No

That won’t work

Prying fingers try to take off the mask and revel the feelings inside

What should I do?

Running does nothing

Facing it is hopeless

What should I do?

What drives me?

Darkness covers all

I have no answers to any questions of my life

How can I escape this hells grip?

How do I find the light when all else fails

How do I deform this darkness in side?

I can try to make this darkness into light and that is my hope
