Undergraduate Minor in Transportation Studies:
The Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is pleased to sponsor the undergraduate Minor in Transportation Studies.  The minor is available to undergraduate UMSL students of any major, and provides students in the St. Louis area who desire employment in a transportation-related field with the opportunity to gain valuable skills applicable to the transportation industry. The minor also provides the transportation/distribution/logistics industry with a source of university-trained personnel in their field. Recent graduates have been hired at firms such as Cass Information Systems, Henderson Trucking and Unyson Logistics.

Students must successfully complete:

MKTG 3770 Introduction to Transportation
MKTG 3771 Traffic and Transportation Management

Plus three additional courses selected from:

MKTG 3700 Basic Marketing
MKTG 3790 Internship in Marketing
MKTG 3798 Topic: Aviation in American Life
MKTG 3798 Topic: Domestic Transportation
MKTG 3798 Topic: Economics of Transportation
MKTG 3798 Topic: Railroads in American Life
MKTG 3799 Independent Study in Business Administration*
LOG OM 3320 Intro to Operations Management

*No more than one approved independent study course may count towards the minor.
