WOMEN'S ADVERTISING CLUB OF ST. LOUIS
Qualifications for Membership, June 1, 1951
The following is an excerpt from the Qualifications for Membership in the Women's Advertising Club of St. Louis.
Section 1: There shall be four classes of membership: Active, Junior, Non-Resident, and Life
Section 2: Active membership shall be open only to women who are and have been, as a means of livelihood, actually engaged for a period of at least three years, in one of the three following phrases of advertising:
1. Creative - art, copy, editorial, promotion, publicity, public relations, research
2. Production - planning, buying or selling advertising; following through on visual production; producing or directing radio, television or commercial films.
3. Executive - acting in an executive capacity on either (1) or (2).

"Women's Ad Club"
The following is an excerpt from a newspaper update of recent activities of the Women's Advertising Club of St. Louis.
Entries from as far away as Quebec, and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, have been received by Miss Jane Wright, chairman of the 1954 Erma Proetz Awards, national competition, sponsored by the Women's Advertising Club of St. Louis. Closing date for the contest has been extended to April 1.
Awards will be made for outstanding creative work produced by women in advertising between March 1, 1953 and March 1, 1954. The judging is divided into four categories: copy, art, radio and television, with four $100 prizes and honorable mentions awarded in each class.
