Saturday Care

The Triton Student Parent Success Initiative is excited to announce a pilot program - Saturday Care!

This program will provide free campus childcare to eligible students while they study, utilize the library, meet with classmates for group projects and connect with other campus resources. Saturday Care will be offered four Saturdays a semester from 9am-12pm. The sessions include:

  • February 16th
  • March 16th
  • April 13th
  • May 11th

Apply For Saturday Care!

Priority will be given to currently enrolled UMSL student parents who are receiving or are eligible for PELL Grants. Student parents not receiving PELL grants, staff, and faculty may be accommodated if availability remains.

Children are eligible beginning at age three until they turn twelve. Children must be fully toilet trained.

Participants are not required to attend the entire session but are limited to one drop off and pick up. Parents are expected to remain on campus and must be reachable by phone. Parents who pick up their children late will forfeit service for the rest of the semester.

Sign up will occur two weeks in advance. In addition to a sign-up form, parents will be required to provide a medical physical, immunization records and emergency contact information prior to Saturday care. Enrollment in each session will be first come, first served and late applications cannot be accommodated.
