  • Involvement in campus life
  • Development of personal and professional skills
  • Opportunities to network
  • Foundations of leadership to excel at UMSL and beyond
  • Graduates of the program are recognized at the end of the year Student Leadership Awards

Time Commitment:

  • Attendance at one fall meeting
  • Attendance at an overnight retreat (April 10-April 11)
  • Participation at all required sessions and a number of optional workshops, approximately 2-2.5 hours each week
  • Earn 150 points to graduate from the program

Each participant is paired with an Emerging Leader peer facilitator who serves as a mentor, as well as plan outside social activities for participants and assists with facilitating weekly sessions.
