BASICS stands for Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students. It's a harm reduction model to address high risk alcohol use. This program aims to help reduce alcohol consumption and to combat the consequences that may negatively impact the drinker.

We've partnered with UMSL Counseling Services eChug and eToke program to help students better understand their alcohol and marijuana use and how it may impact their lives. Visit Counseling Services Drug and Alcohol Online Screenings page to learn more.
