August 21, 2020 - Start Safe, Stay Safe: Tritons take the training

Tritons take the training.

Across campus, we’ve put in place numerous precautions to support the health and safety of our Triton community. To help communicate these measures, we require that all students and employees — including those enrolled in online courses only and employees continuing to work remotely — complete an online training on fall safety requirements. Complete the training by August 24 to be entered into a drawing for a number of prizes including gift cards to the Triton Store.

Student Training:

Login to Canvas, the university’s learning management platform, to complete the training. The training site will be on your Canvas dashboard and in your list of courses.

Faculty and Staff Training:

  • Go to
  • Log in using your University of Missouri user name and password
  • Accessibility: If you would like the support of assistive technologies (e.g., Screen reader software, shortcut keys for all mouse actions, alternative images to replace animated graphics, eliminations of screen refresh rates between 5Hz and 55Hz), check the Web Accessibility check box when logging in.

Don't forget to download the Campus Screen app

Students and employees will be expected to self-monitor their health on a daily basis for COVID-19 symptoms before coming to campus or leaving their residence hall.

All Tritons should download a free mobile app, Campus Screen, which will direct users through a daily health check to support self-monitoring efforts and remain home if they are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

It is important for all Tritons follow safety expectations so we can have a safe start to the semester. Learn more by visiting the Start Safe. Stay Safe. website.
