August 13, 2020 - Start Safe, Stay Safe: Download the Campus Screen App Today

Tritons use the Campus Screen app to monitor their daily health

We must all be disciplined and follow fundamental health and safety behaviors – wearing face coverings, maintaining at least six feet of distance from others and frequent, thorough hand washing – in order to significantly reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

Another vital step is for members of our university community to monitor their health daily and stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (learn more about reporting requirements).

To ensure a safe start to the fall semester, we are asking all Tritons to download a free mobile app, Campus Screen, that will direct users through a daily health check to support self-monitoring efforts.  Download for ANDROID or iOS.

Students and employees will be expected to self-monitor their health on a daily basis for symptoms including temperature, cough, loss of smell or taste, difficulty breathing, fatigue and more before coming to campus or leaving their residence hall.

Stay home if you are sick, experiencing symptoms or have a fever greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit / 38 degrees Celsius.

Students, employees and visitors may be asked to show their daily campus pass status to enter buildings, classrooms or other university activities. Those who do not have access to the app may be asked to run through a series of verbal questions related to COVID-19 symptoms.

Symptoms of COVID-19 may include:

  • Fever greater than 100.4 F (38 C) or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Unexplained muscle or body aches
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
