The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration is a free, open to the public event sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Program Featuring:

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, host of HuffPost Live and BET News VH1 and former political contributor for CNN, as guest speaker

Jasmine Huda, evening anchor/reporter for Fox 2 News/KTVI-TV, master of ceremonies

Brian Owens, E. Des Lee Artist in Residence, founder and executive director of L.I.F.E. Arts, Inc.

2020 MLK Scholarship Recipients

The UMSL College of Education faculty and students from Kappa Delta Pi Chapter will coordinate a concurrent program for children ages 5-11.  The chapter has coordinated this award winning MLK children’s program for the past eight years.  Registration for this program is available on a first come first serve basis.
