CARES Act
The Community College President's Scholarship is awarded jointly by the presidents of the participating St. Louis-area community college campuses and the University of Missouri - St. Louis. This scholarship covers tuition and mandatory fees for up 15 credit hours in each the fall and spring semesters for up to two years (not to exceed 60 credit hours). It also covers tuition and fees for up to 5 credit hours in one summer semester.
Criteria
Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Have earned an eligible UMSL articulated degree from a 2 year college.
- Recipients must have received the degree before starting at UMSL.
- Be admitted to UMSL by the following deadlines:
Fall transfers: April 1st
Spring transfers: November 1st
Renewal Criteria
Recipients must complete a minimum of 24 credit hours annually at UMSL between the fall and spring semesters. In addition, they must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Community College President's Scholarship Application
Students can get the Community College President's Scholarship application from the financial aid office of their campus. In some cases, the campus has made the application available online as well. Please be sure to confirm your community college's deadline for submitting the application.
