Important Information Regarding FS20, SP21, & SS21 Reservations
Thank you for using 25Live to book your reservation, however, there is a new process for requesting events for FS20, SP21, and SS21 in centrally scheduled classroom space.
Beginning August 1, 2020, the university will prioritize the support for internal, university-sponsored events and restrict use of campus facilities for external groups. All external client requests will be denied unless an official exemption request is received and approved.
Please see the Events During the COVID-19 Pandemic web-page for assistance and to submit your reservation request: http://www.umsl.edu/events/covid-19.html
Please reach out to email@example.com with any questions or concerns. Thank you!
Room Requests for Courses on the Schedule of Classes
If you need to request a room change for a course on the schedule, and it is after the schedule has been publicized for students to see, you will need to have your departmental representative request the change using CourseLeaf Section Scheduler (CLSS). Please allow 24-48 hours after this change is submitted for the change to be processed (if available).
If this request if before the schedule has gone live, please contact your department and they will submit the change. Please note, only those designated with access to make room changes will be allowed to submit the request.
Room Reservations for Course Breakout Sessions / Special Ad Hoc Events (see above for the FS20, SP21, & SS21 process)
25Live is our official room reservation system for course breakout sessions and ad hoc event requests.
UMSL Faculty and Staff can submit reservation requests for centrally scheduled classrooms (those that are not department owned) using 25Live.
Students will not be able to submit requests for classrooms. Faculty and staff will be required to make reservation requests on behalf of students who would like to schedule an event in a classroom.
The Registrar's Office will review and approve all room reservation requests and will contact you if there are any issues or concerns. Please note, that classes are given precedence over ad hoc requests.
Instructional Computing Support Services (firstname.lastname@example.org) provides support for any of the classroom technology available and for the locking/unlocking of rooms.
Do NOT use this process for the following:
NOTE: As has always been the case, classroom reservation requests during a semester cannot be made until the course schedule for that semester is complete and all courses are assigned to rooms. Once that is finalized, individual room requests can be submitted. For example, the spring schedule must be finalized before you can make a reservation request for any date within that term.
To make a classroom reservation visit 25Live.
*Please note that new classes are being added to the schedules every day and official classes take precedence over ad-hoc events. In the event that a class is scheduled that conflicts with your event, we will contact you and attempt to make alternate arrangements.
To view a detailed list of the technology in each classroom, please visit the Classroom Listing on the Instructional Support Services page.
Please view the Campus Map for detailed information on building and room locations on campus.
