Recruitment and Admissions

The Admissions and Recruitment module includes the admissions functions that are currently being utilized in CICS:

  • Prospective Student Tracking
  • Application Entry

Online applications and inquiries load directly into PeopleSoft and are downloaded into SIS nightly. All undergraduate applications are processed using the new data system.  A limited number of end-users use the new data system for inquiry and most continue to use SIS for inquiry purposes until the student records module is fully-implemented.

Recruiting & Admissions Milestones:

First Self-Service option will go live in September 2007. Undergraduate domestic applicants applying for the Summer 2008 semester and beyond terms will have the option to check the status of their application online.

A separate database instance for UMSL campus data was created in January 2007.

Went live with an online inquiry form for undergraduate, graduate, international, and optometry students in October 2006.

The Recruit/Admit module was upgraded to PeopleSoft V8.9 in January 2006.

As of November 24, 2003, the UMSL campus has been live on the Recruit/Admit module of PeopleSoft version 8 for students interested in entering UM - St. Louis in Summer 2004 and beyond.
