The University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry requires three (3) letters of recommendation in order to complete your application for consideration of admission.
One (1) of the letters of recommendation must come from a practicing optometrist.
The remaining two (2) letters can come from anyone who can speak about you from a professional and ethical standpoint. These letters can come from an instructor, employer, advisor, clergy, or coach or club advisor.
We accept committee letters with the condition they include a letter from an optometrist.
All letters and evaluations must be submitted through the OptomCAS system as we do not accept letters, emails, or phone calls on your behalf here at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry.
