Protect confidential accounting data

With the significant increase in the collection and use of big data comes the need for an exploding area of expertise in CPA firms and organizations of all kinds: protecting the massive data caches used by analytics professionals to inform decision making within organizations. Understanding the importance and impact of cybersecurity risks on your organization or client and developing a security mindset to be a trusted adviser and key contributor is vital. Today’s accounting professional must know how to manage threats and have effective processes and controls in place to prevent, detect, respond to, mitigate and recover from cybersecurity events.
