Sam Johnson is the Director of Tier Two Operations for Anheuser Busch, focused on growing and supporting capabilities for the owned distribution across the US and Canada. Main focuses of the organization include warehousing optimization, supporting last mile route to market, improving fleet capabilities, and identifying synergies between demand planning and inventory control.
Prior to taking his current position in January 2019, Sam introduced a new business unit focused on quality in logistics and service beyond fulfillment. In 2015, he led the integration of a 3 million case wholesaler in northern Colorado, implementing the Lean Six Sigma management system and Anheuser Busch process and culture. He started with Anheuser Busch in the Cartersville, GA and Columbus, OH breweries working on process improvements within the packaging departments.
Sam spends time outside of work working with local community outreach groups such as Partners Mentoring Youth, Reading Buddies, Habitat for Humanity, and Math Masters. Sam graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Industrial Engineering.
