Pre-Law
Hello! I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, and my master's degree in general counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. It is my honor to be a recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence to an Administrative/Professional Employee in 1999 and 2018. I am presently Student Services Coordinator in the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Marcus Allen Advising Center. My advising areas include music, philosophy and prelaw, and I coordinate the Arts and Sciences graduation list within our advising office and with the academic departments. I also assist all majors in Arts and Sciences who need academic plans for financial aid. I discuss remaining requirements with students for Arts and Science majors, minors and certificates, and provide assistance with course selection and registration each semester. It is very important, too, that students maintain regular contact with the faculty advisors assigned for their programs. (Music Education is handled separately through the Department of Music and College of Education.) I am available to see students Monday through Friday. For more information on available appointment times, please call 314-516-5501 or email me. I look forward to helping students!
