Steven is president of Endeavors of St. Louis, LLC, a consulting agency specializing in accountable care advisory services for physician and hospital networks. Steven assists healthcare leaders in their efforts to operate thriving organizations during the industry’s conversion from volume-based to value-based healthcare financing and delivery. His in-depth knowledge of risk-bearing payment arrangements among payers and providers combined with hands-on, operational experience with medical practice, hospital and health system management, uniquely qualifies him to offer important perspectives to those seeking to develop accountable care organizations, clinically integrated networks, independent physician associations, risk-bearing contracting entities and other value-based enterprises.

Having held numerous healthcare leadership positions, Steven is very comfortable relating to all levels of an organization. With more than a dozen published articles, he has been a guest lecturer for universities, healthcare organizations and non-profit entities within the United States. His previous positions include Operations Vice President for Accountable Care Services at McKesson Corporation; Co-owner of KASS-MSO, LLC, a medical practice management company sold to McKesson Corporation; Chair/CEO of Tenet Deaconess Health System; Chief Operating Officer of Deaconess Incarnate Word Health System; and several junior management positions within the Deaconess organization. Prior to Deaconess, Steven served as a project manager at USC Consulting Group.

Steven currently is a student at the University of Missouri – St. Louis D.B.A. program. He also is a graduate of Washington University’s Executive M.B.A. program, and from St. Louis University, Steven received his Bachelor of Science in Communication and Certificate in Business Administration.
