    • The Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) is a not-for-profit outpatient mental health center established by UMSL to provide psychological services to residents of the St. Louis metropolitan area including adults, couples, children, and families. Services are grant-funded and free for clients/families at this time.

  • Center for Trauma Recovery
    • The Center for Trauma Recovery (CTR) is a multi-disciplinary center of UMSL whose purpose is to work as a specialized Trauma Clinic that provides short-term psychotherapy for individuals. Provide therapy for any type of traumatic event including: sexual assault, intimate partner violence, accidents, disasters, physical assault or other crimes, robberies, violence based on sexual orientation or race, surviving the homicide of a loved one. Services are sliding scale ($30-$120/session) and insurance is not accepted at this time.

  • Children’s Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis
    • Children’s Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis is a University-based, multidisciplinary center that provides high-quality, trauma-focused services to youth, families, and the community. CASGSL promotes resiliency, physical safety, and emotional stability through comprehensive research, forensic, clinical, educational, and advocacy programming. Services are grant-funded and free for clients/families at this time.

  • Community Psychological Services
    • The Community Psychological Service (CPS) is a not-for-profit outpatient mental health center established by UMSL. CPS is committed to offering high-quality, timely, and affordable counseling and psychological evaluation services to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford it. "Coping with COVID" specific group therapy (5 sessions) has a flat fee of $50 at this time. Individual Therapy and DBT Skills Group services are sliding scale at this time.

  • Counseling and Social Advocacy Center
    • The Counseling and Social Advocacy Center (CSAC) @ UMSL assists individuals, couples, and families in need of counseling services with counseling provided by professional counselors and graduate counseling students and is operated through the Department of Counseling and Family Therapy in the College of Education. Telehealth counseling services are free at this time.

    • The Missouri Institute of Mental Health’s (MIMH) programs serve individuals impacted by, at risk for, or living with a mental illness, behavioral health condition, traumatic brain injury, or HIV/AIDS, as well as all sectors who work with these individuals from policy-makers to funders to direct-service workers.

  • Psychological Services Clinic
    • The University of Missouri at Columbia Psychological Services Clinic is providing brief telehealth therapy services for children and adults who would like support in coping with stress and anxiety related to the life and routine changes due to COVID-19. All sessions are delivered via videoconference or telephone. Clients with insurance coverage who receive services from licensed providers will pay their standard co-pay. For clients without insurance and clients seen by doctoral student trainees, the fee is $20 per session (this fee is waived for clients with Medicaid). Need-based fee assistance and scholarships are available.
