Claire Greene entered the UMSL Criminology and Criminal Justice Ph.D. program in 2017. Her research draws upon qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the development, adoption, deployment, and impact of emergent technologies in the criminal justice system.
Her current work utilizes ethnographic field methods to examine the ways in which police technologies shape the subjectivities and decision-making of police actors.
