In 2021, the St. Louis Area Foodbank’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Tim Fetsch as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO of the Foodbank, Fetsch will lead teams within Operations, Community Programs and Partnerships, along with Product Acquisition and Government Compliance. These teams are all actively engaged in providing more than 44 million meals annually for individuals facing food insecurity.

Tim has more than 25 years of supply chain and distribution experience, most recently at E.J. Welch where he served as vice president of operations.  Prior to that, he was with Berlin Packaging for eight years as regional operations manager.

Throughout his career, he has focused his efforts on increasing the net income of his business partners while creating a positive working environment for his employees.  He has centered his approach to accomplish this on four key areas: employee experience, customer experience, quality and efficiency of actions, and asset management.  The chance to positively impact the business, develop and grow people and foster relationships that will propel the organization forward is where he derives his energy and passion.

He received an MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis.  He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification as well as a Commercial and Residential Real Estate License.

Tim and his wife Tammy live in O’Fallon, Missouri. They have four children - Ashley, Danielle, Alexis and Adrian - and three grandchildren that reside throughout the St. Louis area.
