New applicants and pending applicants for Fall 2021 without standardized test scores will be evaluated and receive admission decisions based on high school GPA and class rank. We will make an admissions decision based on your most recent transcript. Before starting classes at UMSL, undergraduate students will need to complete high school. Graduate students will need to complete their undergraduate degree before starting classes at UMSL.
We will make an admissions decision based on unofficial transcripts, however we will need a official, final transcript before you start your second semester of classes at UMSL.
UMSL now accepts Duolingo, which can be taken at home. You should receive your scores within a few days. The minimum requirement for undergraduate admissions is 85-90. At the graduate level, minimum requirements vary by department. It is recommended that students have score of at least 105-110.
Graduate Program Directors will evaluate these situations on a case by case basis and will communicate with the student with regards to admission.
At present, UMSL plans to hold blended courses that are a combination of in-person and online classes.
On campus tours are currrently available, please note that the University of Missouri - Saint Louis is taking reccommended safety measures to ensure the health and wellness of our UMSL community and campus guests. Group visits are currently being offered virtually, at this time there will be no option for in-person group visits/tour.
