At the Missouri Historical Society, I collaborated with
Bosnian refugees and immigrants in St. Louis to mount the current exhibit
in our Community Partners Gallery: Prezivjet Cemo: We Will Survive.
The project began when Patrick McCarthy contacted the Missouri Historical
Society about mounting an exhibit based on his sensitive research into
the July 11, 1995 Srebenica massacre of Bosnian Muslims. The exhibit opened
November 25, 2000 at the Missouri History Museum and will be open to the
public until about August 2001. This picture is of women at a July 11,
2000 memorial gathering in Srebenica, Bosnia.
