A collection of writings by Harry "Pete" Berndt, the former director of Metro Housing Resources, including letters to the editors of various newspapers, published essays and a text on sociology. Contains photocopied notebook on astroturf products created by Berndt for Monsanto before he resigned, and a study of a block partnership with Pruitt-Igoe. (see sl 772, folder 540, Interview with Pete Berndt, 8/20/08.) The collection also includes Berndt's May 1975 PhD dissertation for Washington University.
