The Missouri Association for Adult Continuing and Community Education, MAACCE, evolved from four previous associations in 1983. The four organizations in MAACCE’s past include: MAEA, the Missouri Adult Education Association; MVEA, the Missouri Valley Education Association; MCEA, the Missouri Community Education Association; and MAACE, the Missouri Association for Adult and Continuing Education. MAACCE promotes the principles of and opportunities for adult continuing and community education in the state of Missouri through professional development and workshops.
