Eileen Stein attended Roosevelt High Evening School and Cleveland High School during early to mid-1930s. She lived at 823 4th Avenue and 3510 Miami Street in St. Louis. Stein cut recipes out of newspapers and collected stories about Will Rogers and his family. She attended various St. Louis-area high school productions and community social events. Stein collected school newspapers, greeting cards, letters, memorabilia, and event programs including the program for the 1935 Municipal Opera play titled “Good News.”
