The Western Historical Manuscript Collection’s Vertical File was begun in 1968 as part of the WHMC collecting mission under the direction of Irene Cortinovis and Ina Watson. The collection documents a variety of subjects relating to St. Louis’ history. It contains single files with a small amount of general information on a variety of topics. Arranged alphabetically.
