Born in 1919 in Clinton, Missouri, James (Jeff) Hornback joined the Chicago Ethical Society in 1941, served as leader-in-training in New York and Brooklyn, 1942-1944. He became the leader of the Ethical Society in September 1951. He retired as director in November 1984.
Includes correspondence and literature from committees and clubs.
