A photocopy of the Civil War diary of Mary Stakes Dines was donated to the Western Historical Manuscript Collection-St. Louis on July 31, 1991. Additional papers were loaned for microfilming on September 20, 1991.
Photocopy of the diary of Mary Stakes Dines, wife of Reverend Tyson Dines, a Confederate sympathizer who spent a year in prison in St. Louis. Also contains a history of the Stratton family, related to the Dines by marriage, correspondence and Civil War parole of Rev. tyson Dines.
