In 1986 Family and Children's Services of Greater St. Louis (see collection 174) c hanged its name to Family and Personal Support Centers and again three years later to Provident Counseling. Provident Counseling is a therapeutic resource for St. Louis families. Records include a St. Louis charity directory, 1909; history of children's aid society; board and executive committee minutes and annual reports.
