The Alliance was organized to halt the use and construction of nuclear power plants through non-violent civil disobedience. In 1980 and 1981 it conducted two protests against Union Electric's plant in Callaway County, Missouri. Included are a civil disobedience training manual, handbills, newsclippings, newsletters, and an oral history with Dan Brogan, one of the founders.
