Jesuits established Sacred Heart in 1866 as the second church in Florissant, Missouri, to serve the growing German population of the predominantly French town. That year, the first combination school and convent opened and in 1877 the Sisters of the Precious Blood took over the educational mission of the parish. The records include registers for baptisms, first communions and confirmations, marriages, and deaths. In Latin, German and English.
