The funeral of Mrs. Percy Werner, wife of a well-known St. Louis attorney, who died yesterday at the Parker Memorial Hospital in Columbia, Mo., following an operation for appendicitis, will be held tomorrow from the Werner residence, 5505 Cates avenue. Only members of the immediate families will be present.

Before her marriage Mrs. Werner was Miss Nina Matthews, daughter of Leonard Matthews of 5447 Cabanne avenue, and it is the first death in that branch of the family in 54 years, when Mr. and Mrs. Matthews were married. Mrs. Werner was a prominent member of the Wednesday Club and a sister of Mrs. Saunders Norvell. Mrs. Werner was married in 1889, and her children were: Howard B., Dorothea S., Percy, Jr., Walter C. Matthews, S. Norvell and Virginia Werner, the last name being 2 years old.
