| The marriage
of Miss Nina Matthews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Matthews, to Mr.
Percy Werner will take place this afternoon at the residence of the bride’s
parents on Grand avenue. It will be a small, quiet family affair with
only about fifty persons all told in the company. The bride will wear
simple, elegant bridal robes, purely white, and carry white orchids. The
bridesmaids, Miss Fannie Nesbit and Miss Daisy Billon, will wear white
chaillie dresses with garniture of violets and carry big bunches of violets
in their hands. The young couple will go away on the evening train, and
upon their return from their wedding jaunt will go at once to a beautiful
home, 3707 Finney avenue, which is already furnished and ready for them,
even to a billiard table, one of their wedding presents. The bride will
be at home Wednesday afternoon and evening in January.
