Atlanta, Ga., April 26.
Announcement has been made in Atlanta by Mrs. Morton
Stehlin of the engagement of her daughter, Miss Patricia Sarah Stehlin,
a St. Louis debutante in 1949, to Albert Perdue Boykin. The wedding will
take place here June 12.
A graduate of Frank Hamsher School in Webster Groves,
Mo., Miss Stehlin attended Washington University where she became a member
of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Her coming-out party was a tea in a “deep
south” setting at the Junior League tearoom.
Granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee
Morton and great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Matthews,
pioneer St. Louisans, she is a niece of Stratford Lee, Leonard M. and
Robert L. Morton, all of St. Louis; Mrs. Arthur Anderson of Webster Groves,
and Mrs. Raymond J. Wiese of Kenilworth, Ill. Her brother is Lt. Joseph
C. Stehlin Jr., of the Air Force, who is stationed in San Antonio, Tex.
Mr. Boykin is the son of Mrs. John Abney Boykin
Sr. and the late Mr. Boykin. A graduate of the University of Georgia and
a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, he is now a partner in an
insurance company which bears his name. His clubs include the Nine O’Clocks
and Piedmont Driving. |
