RICHARD
HENMI
Richard Henmi was born on January 3, 1924, in Fresno, California. Henmi
was seventeen years old at the beginning of World War II. He stayed with
his family at the Fresno assembly center for three months. His parents
were moved to Jerome, Arkansas, where they spent a year and a half, while
Henmi was relased from the assembly center to attend college. Henmi's
mother's family later died in the bombing of Hiroshima.
