Dear Dr. Dooley,

          I am a Junior in high school. I have read your book, The Edge of Tomorrow, and it has been a turning point in my life. Someday I would like to do the same kind of work.

          You are a true humanitarian, and Christian, and have done much to show the world that all Americans are not loudmouthed, mercenary clods.
I am glad that you are from St. Louis.

          I hope and will pray that you recover from your bout with cancer.
