RADIO/TELEVISION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS

July 14, 1960

Mr. Earl Rhine
702 Highland
Austin, Texas

Dear Mr. Rhine:

This is to confirm our appointment for Monday, July 25, at 3:00 PM. The program on which you will appear is called "Colloquy." It will be recorded on videotape and subsequently released to television stations throughout Texas. The program will be thirty minutes long and the emphasis will be on informality.

Concerning attire, a medium gray or tan suit televises better than do the darker shades. A pastel shirt is preferable to a white shirt.

If we begin at 3:00 we should be through with the production by 4:00. I have scheduled a playback of the program immediately following the production.

If you have not yet sent me the biographical material I requested, I would appreciate it if you would forward it to me at your earliest convenience.

I am looking forward to seeing you at our studio (in the Press Building - on Speedway, just behind the Chemistry Building) at the appointed time. If you will need to drive your car on campus please call so that we can make arrangements for you to get through the gate. The telephone number is GR 6-8371, Ext. 575.

         Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Bill Oxley,
TV Producer-Director
