The UMSL VITA program provides free tax preparation for low income, disabled, and elderly members of our community. We serve individuals located in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County.

All UMSL VITA volunteers have been certified by the IRS to prepare tax returns.

Important News


Tax return deadline: April 15, 2013


Our tax preparation sites will be open between February 8, 2013 and April 13, 2013.


Generally, to qualify for our free services, your household income (from all sources) in 2012 cannot exceed $50,000.


We provide free e-filing of both federal and state tax returns!
