Jim Owens
Applied instructor of Jazz Trombone.Jim Owens has degrees in Music from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He was previously on the Jazz Faculty at Webster University, and has been at UMSL since October of 2008. He recently released the album “Bad to the Bone” with Brett Stamps on the Victoria Records label. He is an active performer and arranger in the St. Louis area.
