Joe

Hometown: Evansville, IN

Bachelor's degree from: Ball State University

How I write:

I've noticed that I tend to write about a page per hour when I'm working hard. When I'm lazy, that time gets cut in half, but later that time comes back in the form of correcting commas and other things. I edit a lot when I write, but I always proofread at least twice before turning in the assignment.

Patrick

Hometown: Flower Mound, TX

Bachelor's Degree from: Texas Tech University

How I write:

Usually I start with an argument, using the body of the paper to support and clarify it while also incorporating various texts to strengthen the points being made.

Anna

Hometown: St. Louis

Bachelor's Degree from: University of Minnesota-Twin Cities

How I write:

I usually gather my thoughts and invent plots while driving, running, or walking--anytime when I don't feel the pressure. Then, I think of a name for the protagonist and build their entire personality around that. I then go through a few drafts/peer edits until I have my story!
