Meet the Tutors
HannahHometown: Kingston/Port Gamble, WA Bachelor's degree from: Western Washington University-Bellingham How I write: I start off with a full rough draft (brainstorming draft) in pen--start to finish. I find sources, after this draft, that will fit with my main points. I add sources and type a more polished draft. I read over and revise the typed draft. When I am confident that the overall structure of the paper is solid, I have someone I trust/respect review it. I make any necessary revisions after the peer review, and I, finally, turn it in.

ChrisHometown: St. Louis Bachelor's degree from: Fontbonne University How I write: Gather a wealth of sources, read and annotate them all, select the ones most valuable for my purposes, create an extremely rough draft (just the thoughts out!)--Rewrite! Rewrite! Rewrite! Refine! Rewrite!

JoeHometown: Evansville, IN Bachelor's degree from: Ball State University How I write: I've noticed that I tend to write about a page per hour when I'm working hard. When I'm lazy, that time gets cut in half, but later that time comes back in the form of correcting commas and other things. I edit a lot when I write, but I always proofread at least twice before turning in the assignment.
