Jennifer MacKenzie teaches courses in early American and World literatures, Myth, Literary Criticism, Grammar, and Poetry. Reader, poet, teacher, traveler - around the world and a good deal in Concord - she believes that exploring the influences that have shaped our perspectives and getting to know perspectives different from our own can lead us to important insights. Her classes emphasize the belief that artful attention to writing can give us ideas and help us communicate them. Her poems have been published widely in literary, scholarly, and other publications, such as River Styx, Sou'wester, Feminist Studies, the Literary Review, and the Christian Science Monitor.
