Thank you for being a part of the successful 2012 UMSL Month of Giving!
Throughout the month of October, we held our annual employee giving campaign for both Community Health Charities and the United Way of Greater St. Louis. In addition, student groups were asked to participate in our charitable giving efforts. The following student groups reported their activities:
- Alpha Phi Omega sold bracelets and donated $2,006 for the Pulsera Project
- Alpha Xi Delta raised $1,165 walking for Autism Speaks
- Colleges against Cancer participated in the Making Strides- Breast Cancer Awareness walk and held a bra decorating contest to collect $242.83 for breast cancer research and awareness activities
- Delta Sigma Pi raised $558.60 for Multiple Sclerosis
- Kappa Delta Pi donated $25 for Maternal Child and Family Health
- Zeta Tau Alpha held their annual Cheer Classic and raised $12,500 for breast cancer research and awareness activities
Our campaign was a success because of you and your generous spirit! You came through for those in need this year. Thank you! Our gifts are truly making a difference to people in the St. Louis area.
