In the days of the Kennedy assassination, Bunge Corporation was known as the Octopus. The story of the fallout it received from the Great Salad Oil Swindle, a financial scandal that exacerbated the panic in the stock market the day JFK was hit, is told in the Steamshovel-related book Mind Control Oswald & JFK.
The book suggests a mind control connection between Lee Harvey Oswald and Tony DiAngelis, the man who effectuated the Salad Oil swindle possibly for the sake of the stock market short fall that benefitted Bunge and others (including Warren Buffett, who first bought his American Express stock then) after Kennedy was shot and the Salad Oil scandal began to erupt. DiAngelis had no direct connection to Bunge; the scandal involved non-existence sald oil inventory in American Express warehouses.
