I am pleased to welcome you to the 2012-2013 academic year. I am delighted that you have chosen the University of Missouri-St. Louis to continue your educational endeavors. On behalf of the entire Division of Student Affairs, we wish you a very successful and rewarding year at UMSL.
You are part of an exciting community of scholars. Our academic programs are very strong and our faculty members are here to share their knowledge and expertise with you. I encourage you to get to know your faculty members and use them to help guide your course selections and career decisions as you traverse through your educational journey. There are over 100 clubs and organizations designed to provide students with a well-rounded education. I encourage you to visit the Office of Student Life to see what organizations you may consider joining. Also, please visit the Center for Student Success, which offers many programs that are dedicated to help you make the most of your educational experience and achieve success in your academic pursuits.
