Information about downloading MDL Chime

• Go to the MDL website at http://www.mdlchime.com
• Register (its free) or login if you are already registered. (They'll assign you a wierd password when you register, so have a pencil handy.)
• After logging in, scroll down to the "Download no-fee Software" links on the left and select "MDL Chime".
• In the "Select Product" Box, select "MDL Chime".
• Click on the Chime link appropriate to a Windows or Macintosh computer.
• Scroll down to "Additional info" and select "MDL Chime System Requirements"
• Download the appropriate version of Chime

The versions of Chime available for downloading require either Netscape 4.75 or 4.79 or Internet Explorer 5.5 (upgraded with the SP2 Service Pack release, available from the Microsoft web site) or Internet Explorer 6.0. (Check whay you need for your system.)  You can download Netscape 4.75 or 4.79 by going to the Netscape site from the "Browser Help" section of the MyGateway homepage, going to the Netscape site, and selecting "Previous versions" and "Versions 4.7x". Similarly, you can get Internet Explorer 6.0 via the link in "Browser help".   Download and install the Netscape Communicator file and/or Internet Explorer file before trying to install Chime.

After downloading MDL Chime26SP4, install the program by running the downloaded "MDLChime26SP4.exe" file (SP3 for Macs). You may need to reboot after installing the plug-in.
