Dr. Kristen Wagner joined the faculty of the School of Social Work in the Fall of 2011. She received her PhD in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She also received a MSW degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her BA in Psychology from the University of North Dakota. Her research interests include social and economic development in domestic and international communities, social policy, asset building, poverty, participatory research and development. Dr. Wagner’s teaching focuses on social and economic development and social welfare policy within the context of social work practice.
